I never know that I had to buy a new dress just for attending this event.

At first, I think that we can use any kinds of dress to this event.

So I just agreed them as my friends asks whether I wan to go to INTIball.

But, after pay the ticket, my friend said that there was dresscode stated behind the ticket.

I read through it and find out the theme.

Just like if we r goin to married.. haha~

Girls had to use light coloured dress and boys had to use black suit.

I only got Dark colour dress.

But, I also 4get to bring my high heels here.

So I also had to go and buy one high heels.

~Phewwww~

At least, I'm not the only one that had to shop again just bcoz of this.

All my friends also dun hav light coloured dress, so they went to KLCC to shop.

But at last, they also only got black colour dress and they say they will attend the event with that dress.

But.... My pocket money this month already finished.

Just bcoz I buy hard disk, pay the ticket for Intiball, and buy the shirt of social board.

And next month, I will accompany Kojul to Redang Island as she will be celebrating her b'dei there.

How can I not goin with her as she is my bff-s in here..??

street party 7 @ INTI - nilai

It's really tired after this event. But it's really fun..!! From usual street, they change it to an unusual party place. Starting from days of street painting from block D to G, which can makes our legs really tired, it ends with the biggest event which is held by IHRB (INTI Halls of Residence board) in which consist of floor-reps, which is really rocksss!!!

This event started by 7 pm till 1 am which started with ribbon cutting by the head of accomodation office, Mr. Lim, and continued by parade of some countries with their own flags acrossing the main road. First of all, the parade were started by all floor/rep which holds the flag of INTI-UC. Continued by Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nigeria, Mongolia, China, Kenya, Botswana, and many more.

There are also many stands which sold things there, from food, drinks, accessories, to tatoo stall which you can buy things from. When the time reach 10 pm, the events begins to rock!! The fireworks begin as well as the music. It changes the road becomes a big outdoor dance floor. Everybody begin to dance all the night and sweating once they finished dance. Really crazy!! But it's the real fun for the collegues as the city is far away.

cooking time

It's very funny wen that time. We decided to cook lunch for 7 people= me, kojul, nengsih, kojul's brothers and 2 peoples that stay in the house. But, kojul picked me up wen 12 noon. so, we started to prepare the ingredients wen 12 sth la. Tear the 'kangkong' vegetables, cut the 'tempe' & 'kentang'. Haha. Den, makes the chili sauce. we decided to cook kangkong belacan, tempe+kentang+teri sambal, fried chicken, and cabbage egg.. delicioso..!!
Unfortunately, me, kojul, nengsih and kono (kojul's brother) are not expert in cooking. So we try our best to cook and takes a long time. We finished cooking at 3 pm, wen it's not the time 4 lunch anymore. But the taste of our cookings are not bad. At least, after eating, all of us do not get stomachache. Lol!! The one that I proud in this cooking time is i know that my tongue still normal bcoz all the food is tsted by me. Especially the kangkong belacan chili. Haha.

P.s. The chef (Kojul's older brother) in Kojul's house do not complain. It means our cookings not bad and we have talent in cooking. Just hav to do more practise in cooking. Lol...

Ampang Trip_28 Feb 2009

Well, in dealing with batch of assignments, me n my friend (kojul) decided to go to Ampang along with INTI photography club. We are interested bcoz they say that we can see whole KL city. of course the trip is not free la.. We have to pay 10 rm per person. And we go there with kojul's brothers. Quite a fun la..
We gathered at INTI bus stop at 4.30 pm and go to Ampang with INTI bus for about an hour. There is traffic jam near the Ampang right b4 arrived to our destination. We are quite worried bcoz there was dark clouds wen we looked up to the sky and after that drizzles comes out. haiyaa.. Finnally we arrived there at 6.30 pm with the roads wet bcoz of the rain. luckily, the rain oledi finished so we can go up to see the view and takes many photos.

After taking photo wen not yet dark, we go down again to hav dinner. There are so many cafe to sit down and eat. at last, we choose gasoline. Yet, the order takes so long time to comes out. Makes us cannot takes photo of the sunset. Hate it!! After we finished eating, go up again to take photo. Haha.. So 'narsis'!! And again, rains!!! Rainn!!! This time is not the light one, but the heavy one er.. With lots of winds and makes us wet. Stucked in the same place for a long time. Finnally, to spend the time, I decided to take photo instead of just standing up. Narsis mode: ON. Hoho..
Then, wen the rains not too heavy again, we decided to go down and look for a place to sit down. Wat a bad day, its too wet 4 me to go down. I hate myself for choosing to use slippers instead of shoes. My slippers makes me hav trouble to go down and makes me take decision to take off my slippers and walk without anything to cover my feet. haixzz.. So sad!!

the legend of chinese zodiacs

According to the legend, in the 6th century B.C. the Jade Emperor invited all the animals to participate in a race. The prize was a coveted position on the Chinese Zodiac Calender, which means the first 12 animals to cross the river would appear on the Chinese Zodiac Calender in the order in which they completed the race.
The 1st animal to make it accross the finishing line was rat. A long tme ago, cat and rat were good friends and neighbours. In his greed of winning the race, rat forgotten his promise to wake his friend, cat to go for the race together. On the way, rat meet tiger, ox, horse, and the other animals which could run much faster than him. In order to not fall behind them, he thought of a good idea. He made the straightfoward ox carry him on the condition that he sang for ox. Ox and rat arrived first. When they were almost reaching the finishong line, rat jumped off from ox's head and ran to the finishing line. Therefore, ox came in at 2nd place. When cat finally woke up and got to the racing ground, the race was already over. That is why cats hate rats so much that each time they meet, a cat will chase after a rat.
Tiger, also being strong, came in 3rd, followed by rabbit (4th place) that jumped his way accross and was helped during the last stretch by dragon (5th place). Snake (6th place) hid in the hoof of horse which was how he managed to make it across the river. At the last minute, the snake jumped out and scared horse into 7th place.
Sheep (8th place), monkey (9th place) and rooster (10th place) helped one another accross the river and earned their spots on the calender as well. Dog made it too, but he decided that a bath was more important that the position which is why he came in 11th place. Finally, boar appeared and was listed as the 12th and final animal to be in Chinese Zodiac Calender.

the legend of CNY

Long time ago, there was a ferocious beast called Nian, which had a lion-type head with elephant-type body. Nian couldn't find food in the cold winter time because many animals hibernate in the mountains. Therefore, it must go down every Lunar New Year's Eve to devour livestock and human beings. Nian was too strong to be killed. To escape from Nian, people closed their doors before dusk, and stayed up late on Lunar New Year's Eve. To pass time, the villagers drank wine to muster their courage. The villagers would put food in front of their doors as they believed that after Nian ate the food, it wouldn't attack anyone. They would only leave their homes the next morning when the beast was no longer around.
One Lunar New Year's Eve, Nian attacked a village south of YangTze River (China) where nobody survived except a newly married couple and a few children. The couple were dressed in red and were in a room dawned woth red curtains while the children were in the yard, lightning firecrackers. When the beast heard the explosive sounds from the burning firecrackers, it ran away. Hence, it occurred to people that the colour red, bright lights, and loud sounds were the things that Nian feared most.
So the villagers cut red peach wood to hang on the door and lighted campfire in front of their door on the eve of new year. When Nian approached the village, people lit the firecrakcers to make explosive sounds and beat the metal kitchen and farming utentils to make loud noises. Eventually, Nian who was terror-sticken, fled into the mountains and from then on, it never came to the village again.
People survived, celebrated and congratulated each other on the next day. The reason New Year's Eve is called "Guo-Noan" (passing Nian) in Chinese is because it is known as the day before the start of a new year, and the day of new year is known as "Xin Nian" (New Year). The existance of Nian brought the custom of pasting red paper-cuts, wearing red clotches, hanging red lanterns, beating drums and gongs, and setting off firecrackers. That is why till today we can still see many people practising this custom.

This cultural nite is in 22.01.2009, which as I mention in the blog before, organized by the clubs in INTI college-Nilai. The event is very cool!! Beside that, it's also very interesting. Here is the program flow of the cultural nite:

Of course the actual event is different from the program flow. The 24-solar drum is so cool.. Very" cool er.. Haha.. Most of it is actually so great. Some of the program that I like is 24-solar drums, motion dance, orchestra, diabolo, and lion dance. This is the first time I attent a Chinese cultural nite and unforgetable event.

新年到了

Yahh.. G kerasa, CNY dah dekat, hanya tinggal 5 hari lagi. Dan gw bakal balik ke indo dlm 3 hari.. hohoho... Gimana hari" menjelang CNY kalian? Seminggu sebelum CNY dsini rupanya lumayan rame. Ada parade, carnival, barbeque night, & cultural night. diadakan oleh 13th intima CCS (chinese cultural society) & STACT club.

Carnival--20/21/22.01.09, 10am-4pm/7pm-9pm, SAO concourse/in front of MPH.

Yeah, w cuma ikutan parade xma cultural nightnya az. Ikutan Parade krn gratis n Cultural night krn tertarik. Hoho. Kalo carnival, hanya jual barang" yg berhubungan dgn CNY doank. Selain itu, Barbeque night di waktu yg hampir dekat dgn CNY?? Ngga de.. Thanx.. Mending ngga ikutan drpd sakit pas CNY.. Hehe..
Klo di carnivalnya, dijual barang" yang berhubungan dgn CNY dan China. Xpt pia, tang yuan, angpao, gantungan, sulaman khas China, dll, dsb de.. Oh ya, di dalam carnival juga dijual tiket buat Chinese Cultural Night.
Dlm parade, ad lion dance xma dewa rezeki (Chai Sen Ye). Dewa rezekinya gadungan sih.. haha.. Namanya juga acara yg dibuat para mahasiswa, jdi ya yg jadi pemerannya mahasiswa. Tuh semuanya dibuat sendiri.. Akhirnya gw sama tmn gw berfoto ma tuh chai sen gadungan. Wkwk. Dalam keadaan jelek tentunya, soalnya g tao mao foto sih.. Hehe.. Seru jg.. Gw nggak tao kalo pas CNY bakal diadain acara seperti ini. Not bad lar.. Dalam college yg xlalu dblg hutan ini.. Hehe.

Bcox da capek badan jasmani n rohani, selain itu jg mlex mikir buat translate, so kali ini gw bakal tulis dlm bhs kebangsaan qta, bhs Indonesia yg gaul.. Hehehe

Hr jumat, tgl 16, qta para floor rep dharuskan mengikuti IHRB LTC camp yg bkal diadakan di port dickson. -*IHRB=Inti Halls of Resident Board, LTC=Leadership Training Camp- Tuh org" kurang ajar de.. Mxa diharuskan ikut tp ngga dikasi tahu bakal kemana aja. Cuma bilang harus ngambil minimal 5 baju soalnya bakal basah"an. Akhirnya qta" pergi tanpa tahu apa".

Berangkatnya tuh jam 7 malem & sampe sana kira" udah jam 9.30 gt de.. Rupanya kita ke Port Dickson, dmana dnamakan kota pantai. Soalnya dikelilingi pantai sih.. Kita menetap di "kolej uniti" yang keadaannya benar" parah bgt.. Kul gw z dah dinamakan dlm hutan, eh, yang ini lbh dalem lg daripada hutan. Gile!! Di dalam kolej itu ada hutan & pantai. Hutan lipur pasir panjang namanya, tp gw lupa nanya apa nama pantainya.. Aduhh... Parah bgt de!!

Pertama", qta taruh bagasi dulu di dalam kamar, nama kamar yg gw tempati tuh Chalet Laksamana.. Lumayan keren de namanya.. Wkwk.. trux qta semua kumpul n maen game. Game-nya tuh kyk game anak". Oper telor..!! Kalo musiknya pas berhenti di tempat u, kena tantangan de.. Ad yg hrs jd Mr.Bean menari, nangis 3 gaya.. Pokoknya jayus de.. Bix tu, kira" jam 12 malem, qta semua masuk ke dalam hutan, tanpa senter, tanpa handphone, tanpa penerangan. Bayangkan aj de gmn tuh!! Qta dsuru jalan dengan tutup mata & hanya mengandalkan tali, hanya jalan memutar karena tidak tahu apa-apa. Pokoknya cape bgt.!! belum menyelesaikan kompetisi, qta smua dsuru berhenti n buka penutup mata. Ehh.... rupanya semuanya berada di tempat yang sama..!! Sama" tersesat.. Haha.. Akhirnya qta semua dipandu keluar dr hutan & dberi tahu knapa berhenti. Rupanya ada pohon yang mao tumbang, jadi demi keselamatan kita semua, dihentikan deh permainannya. Trux qta semua boleh balik ke chalet & tidur. Tp taulah cew.. Bergosip ria sampe jam 2 pagi baru bobo, padahal jam 6 harus sudah bangun lagi.. Parahh"... Dsr cew.. Wkwk.

Hari kedua, qta semua kumpul jam 6.30 pagi buat senam. Gile boq.. Senamnya keren e.. Senam anak smp.. Haha... Dah lama nga senam jadinya pada kacau. Stlh senam slama 30 minit, qta sarapan. Sarapannya, sumpe boq.. Bihun goreng yg keras bgt!! Jdnya g selera makan de..

Bix makan, qta smua ke pantai. Tuh jam 8.30 klo g salah. Qta dsuru buat rakit sendiri, hanya dalam waktu stengah jam. Trux qta harus lomba rafting n ngambil bendera. Awal"nya pada semangat, tp begitu nga sampe" ke tempat benderanya, smuanya pada kehilangan semangat de.. Rupanya, anginnya besar bgt n buat rakit kita hanyut. Qta dsuru berhenti n balik ke darat de.. Tp, e khi be tui pula.. Pulang pun nga sampe" ke daratnya.. Parahh bgttt!! Akhirnya krn ombaknya yg besar, rakit qta ditarik sama motor boat. Gw jd pusing & mual" gara" tuh ombak sialan.. Begitu sampe darat, gw langsung pulang, take a bath & bobo de.. Soalnya sakit kpala sampe g tahan bgt!! Bix istirahat bentar, dsuru lunch.. Tp untung makananny lumayan enak xkrg.. Jdnya perut gw g kosong de.. Bix tu mereka msuk hutan lagi & main war zone. Berhubung gw nga enak badan, bix makan gw balik kamar n bobo lg.. Hohoho... Eh, pas mereka pulang, pada kotor" semua, gile!! Asli maen lumpur boq.. Untung gw g ikutan.. Thanx god!! Ad lg yg seluruh tangannya bentolan gara" digigit nyamuk ganas hutan.. Kcian de.. Haha..

Setelah istirahat, qta semua makan malem jam 8, bix makan malem ke pantai lagi buat maen game n buat api unggun sampe jam 10. Trux qta jj ke tmpt jual burger n balik jam 11.30 & lgsung blik kamar, bergosip ria.. Finally, krn boxen d dlm kamar, w ma tmn" keluar n ngeliat bintang. Gilee.... Tuh bintang rasanya cuma beberapa meter di hadapan kita.. Deket bgt coyy.. Pas waktu itu, ad rasi scorpio n sagitarius.. Sayang nga difoto. Ckckckck.. Stlh puas ngeliat bintang, qta balik kamar n bobo.
Finnally, last day, sunday. Paginya bangun jam 8.30. Pada terlambat semua, pdhal seharusnya kumpul jam 8. Cew ma cow rupanya sama aja.. Bangunnya terlambat 30 menit. Emang lar.. Bix tu sarapan nasi lemak. Stidaknya lbh enak dr sarapan kmarin. Jam 10, ke meeting room denger Dr.Siah ceramah. Pokoknya lumayan asik de.. G nyesel jg.. Hehe.. & plus 1 thing.. I have more friends. Hohoho...

actually, inti's share has been half bought by Laureate..
never heard huh??
this is also my 1st time hear this name.
now, inti's name also change..

what a long name..
but all still the same, just the requirements are more higher than b4..
hohoho...

one good news..!!
I've pass all my subject, but only average lah..
haha...
not bad for me..
i'll study more harder this time..
